Our story
One room in 2003. The same street, twenty-three years later.
Reshmi Das started with two chairs, a borrowed steamer and a rule she still keeps: never sell a client something her hair or skin does not need.
Built on repeat visits, not advertising
When Reshmi opened the parlour in 2003, most of her clients were neighbours. Word travelled the way it does in Mirzapur — a good haircut, a wedding that went well, a mother telling her daughter where to go.
Twenty-three years on, the team has grown to nine women, the treatment rooms are private, and the equipment is professional-grade. What hasn't changed is the consultation: we look at your hair and skin first, then talk about what's worth doing.
We are a women-only space. Every stylist and therapist here is a woman, trained and certified, and most have been with us for more than five years.
