What a hair spa actually does

A hair spa is conditioning and circulation. We cleanse, apply a deep-conditioning mask, add steam so it penetrates, then massage the scalp for about twenty minutes. It softens hair, calms an itchy or flaky scalp and reduces breakage. It does not change your hair's structure, so curls stay curls and frizz comes back as the mask wears off — usually in three to four weeks.

What keratin smoothening does

Smoothening is chemical. A keratin formula is worked through the hair and sealed in with heat, which relaxes the bonds that create frizz and volume. Results last four to six months and grow out gradually. We use formaldehyde-free formulas only, and we will refuse the service if your hair is already over-processed.

How to choose

If your hair is dry, dull or shedding, start with a hair spa — it is ₹1,200 and repairable. If you spend forty minutes with a straightener every morning and still lose to the humidity by noon, keratin at ₹4,500 is the honest answer. Fine or heavily bleached hair should do two or three spa sittings first so there is something to smooth.

Aftercare that decides your result

Sulphate-free shampoo for both. After keratin, no tying, no clips and no washing for the first seventy-two hours. Book a spa sitting every six weeks between smoothening appointments and you will stretch the result closer to six months than four.
